breakfast!

A quick blip from the bedroom window, as it is raining and I am about to leave to head south. A pigeon with his breakfast!

Had to spend the morning on various domestic duties, like getting the guest room ready. I am going to collect my great-niece Gabrielle, who lives in the US and is studying in London for three months, and who is at present visiting 'the homeland' as she calls it - Hartlepool, where her grandparents and mother were born, and of course so was I. One of my oldest friends only lives about 20 miles further south, so I am going this afternoon for a flying visit, staying overnight and then collecting Gabrielle tomorrow to bring her to Scotland for a few days of hectic sightseeing no doubt.

So a late blip tomorrow night, or even a back blip, as I am not taking my netbook - shock horror!!!
