Coming in to land.

Although reasonably widespread in Europe, glossy ibis are not often seen hereabouts (only my second time.) Global warming, and the lack of flights to Spain, mean they are choosing to stay.
Extra: I like their prehistoric profile.
It was a warm sunny day, and a large dollop of the afternoon was spent with a couple of friends in their big garden.
