Capability Brown country

I was with one of the Intermediate groups of walkers today. Five of us did the Wannie Line walk which uses quite a lot of old railway line. It's fairly flat but there are many wide open views around. The fields are nearly all occupied by sheep and lambs.

It was sunny and idyllic.

A long stand of trees caught our eyes. I have photographed just three of the very long line. The structure is magnificent.

I saw my first cowslips today too.

Five miles of good company as well as beautiful countryside.
