Many Dales.....
We were back in The Peak District again today. Yet another warm sunny Spring day which we didn't want to miss.
We started in the village of Litton. We then walked along Tansley Dale, Cressbrook Dale, Ravensdale and finally part of Miller's Dale.
The main image is of Peter's Stone, a limestone monolith, It is thought to have slid downhill on slayer of clay from the main limestone formation millions of years ago.
The extras include the mill pond at Water-cum-Jolly, and our final stretch back to Litton with what seems like miles of White Peak drystone walls.
