Daisy got a groom

Well her groom was yesterday but she’s still looking lovely (and smells great too!) although there is a random wispy bit of fur sticking out in this blip! (‘Just washed it and can’t do a thing with it!’)

This photo is actually taken in front of our new house, although it’s on the other side of the river and very blurry as I was using ‘portrait’ mode on the iPhone. It’s the building with the blue bits (protective covers while render is applied) and I wonder what the dog will make of living there soon. My dad is convinced she’ll jump in the river and keeps taking about putting in extra fences but I don’t think she’s that daft?!

Anyway, it was a busy day. Thursday’s yoga was a noisy affair as the online yoga teacher’s dog was very vocal. I then met my Dad for some lunch which was nice. Then it was a bit of prep in advance of chairing my final committee meeting of the academic year. Treated myself to fish n chips after the meeting finished as a treat for my hard work (voluntary)
