It’s all about the young ‘uns

A glorious day here, big blue skies and sunshine. I did a bit of work in the morning and then headed through to Edinburgh to buy my eldest son some lunch and have a catch up.

It was a lovely drive down there and then we got burgers and shakes and sat in a park watching the canal. I really enjoyed my time with him. He’s such a lovely guy and so proud of how he’s handling himself at Uni, just 18 with all this Covid malarky to contend with. And he just got his gold Duke of Edinburgh award so he’s in the good books with mum and dad. I asked if I could take his pic for a blip entry (he said yes!) and went for an arty shot in portrait mode!

Home in time for my last work meeting of the week which was a really enjoyable conversation and now it’s relaxation all the way...until tomorrow! We’re spending the weekend fixing up the house as the estate agent is coming on Monday to put up a ‘for sale’ sign! Eek!
