Start of the birthday celebrations

I may have mentioned that I’m celebrating a bit of a milestone birthday on Tuesday and as my Friday chats with girls will be on hold next week as one of our number is heading to a holiday cottage with her family, we are celebrating tonight.
Dresses, makeup, the works.

A mysterious box was delivered this morning and I was delighted to open it to find this lovely cake - apple and raspberry apparently. It even came with candles. Thanks ladies.

We dropped the puppy at doggy daycare this morning and he has returned exhausted - guess he won’t need a nighttime walk! Mr PHL and I took advantage of his absence to nip to the big blue warehouse as he needed some bits for his shed.
Miss PHL had peace to do the last minute prep for her first exam this afternoon.

We left her alone this afternoon (after leaving a note in the door to make sure she wasn’t disturbed) and I went to my hairdressing appointment. I feel like a new woman (May adds a photo later once I’ve got dolled up).

Now rushing to get tea organised before I get ready. Sorry the Tiny Tuesday results will need to wait till tomorrow.
