Walk with the dogs

Backblipped Tuesday 26th for Saturday 23rd

Cooked up a big breakfast after the early morning dog walk (eating a big meal always makes me hungry the next day which is weird!) which was enjoyed by all. Slight drama when the grill went on fire and had to doused with a damp tea towel. Luckily no damage done bar a smoky kitchen.

Our son took Miss PHL down to the hospital so she could have the catheter removed. They showed her to a private room and unfortunately forgot about her as they were quite busy so the removal and waiting to see if she could go naturally took longer than we thought it would! She’s still not feeling kite herself but still has a few days of the antibiotics to take so hopefully she’s on the mend.

Whilst she was at the hospital, the rest of us took the dogs to Springfield Mill for a run about and a swim. They had a great time and covered twice as many miles as we walked.

After a quick lunch M&A headed home and I waited to hear from Miss PHL. She was eventually released just before 4 and I drove in to collect her and head for the shops as she needed something to wear to her graduation on Monday.

We got lucky on the second shop and she got a dress and sandals to wear. The uni didn’t advise a dress code so she’ll be wearing a lovely blue dress instead of the more normal black and white.

Headed home to pick up her things before dropping her back at the flat where I had a quiet evening adding more rows to the baby blanket.
