England, my England

Probably not essential travel,  but it was good to mark St. George’s Day with a little outing to the seaside - Goring actually, which I tend to call boring Goring, sorry if you live there !
Not boring today though, as it must be about eighteen months since we last saw the sea.
And what could be more English than this scene ? A fine row of beach huts, so you can look at the sea while sitting indoors, and not lovely Australian-style fine white sand, but builders’ yard shingle, and if you fancy a paddle the sea’s out there on the horizon somewhere.
But it was so good actually going out for a change.
Good news for Mr. Beewatcher too, with dates for the follow-up appointment for his recent op,  and the probable date for his main procedure if the appointment goes well.
