A trip down Tanner's Bank...
...for some Geordie Bangers this morning...
And a walk back along the riverside path to bag the seal made of rubbish for the derelict challenge. The installation is prompting people to recycle, and to take their rubbish home rather than dropping it. As you can see, it was causing lots of interest!
It became rather silly when one of these pairs of ladies pointed in disgust at two carrier bags that had been dumped close by and said how disgusting it was - and the other pair suggested it was my shopping, parked while I was taking the photo... We all had a chat and a laugh...
Called in to see my sister and Gus on the way home - sat in the garden for tea, which turned into a glass of wine, and then a curry may have been consumed.
In extras - just call me Christine of Assisi! They have a very tame robin which rules the garden, demands mealy worms for his brood in the hedge, and is happy to take them from your hand ;)
We've enjoyed a lovely few days away - it has been like a proper holiday ;)
CORONA CLASSICS – from Dolly - English Country Gardens · The Band Of The Corps Of Royal Electrical And Mechanical Engineers and from me Maurice Ravel - Gaspard de la nuit
