A right pair of eejits

Headed out fairly early to the riverside with the dog today and was joined by a lovely pair of swans who glided up and down near us for a while...the perfect opportunity for that elusive swan shot I’m always hoping for. And guess what, I didn’t have a camera with me!! Couldn’t believe I’d left it in my bag in the car. Darn it :(

So we’ll have to settle for this dodgy shot of me and the husband earlier this evening as it’s the only photo I took today! We were recording a happy birthday video message for a distant friend and the only props we could find were a pair of hats! The top hat actually belonged to my paternal grandfather, who I never met, and who clearly had a pretty small head!

Cleaned the carpets today in preparation for selling the house. Worked like a trouper for lounge and dining room but lost the will after that!
