Frog Heaven at Night

I was feeling more 'blip adventurous' and went out in the garden in total darkness with a torch and a camera. There was a lot of 'ribbitting noises coming from the pond. Yes - the frogs have arrived ! Here come the Frogs...

So, I rudely awoke them from their fun frolicking and took a picture. This particularly fat one is spawning. Our record was 110 frogs in the pond at one time last year, and yes, I sat there and counted them!

There will be even more tomorrow no doubt, but I hope the imminent freezing weather does not damage them and the new tadpoles.

Lots of pond life blips coming up perhaps :)
