Country view.

J working so left to my own devices today.

After online Mass, breakfast, and preparing some vegetables for this evening's meal I sat down to watch the football on BBC1. Oh dear, the less said about that the better. A complete shambles, shocking performance.

Soon forgot about it though and changed clothes and took myself off on today's walk.From the village I headed to Armscote and then across to Halford, avoiding the main road.

Halford is a lovely village but has no shop now and the pub is one of those which closes down and then re-opens with new landlords until it closes again a few months later, a sad cycle really.

From there across open countryside towards Alderminster but before reaching there walking back towards Crimscote and then home.
