Daffodil

In 2013 I planted a series of bulbs in the border, including five varieties of daffodil/narcissus. Few bloomed well, if at all, probably due to competition from the hedge and other plants.

So I was very surprised to see four of these blooms yesterday. I have consulted the original chart, checked their names on Google and can confirm they are variety 'Binkie'. This was one of the pet-names for Master Flum when he was small, so I'm delighted to be able to embarrass him with it next time we meet.
