Mono Monday . . . Now

Now is the time to be munching on swan plant so this monarch caterpillar can pupate before the temperatures drop.  If it hatches successfully it can overwinter and start the monarchs of 2022.   This was taken in the garden and I was surprised to see a caterpillar this late in the season.
