We viewed a second car this morning - a little polo that was a bit the worse for wear. Decision made and another trip back out to Nare Point to swap Nancy for Vera/Rita.

The Boy hates her. Even though she has back doors to make giving lifts to his siblings lifts and allow roof bars to be fitted to carry his surfboard. He hated Nancy as well until we part exchanged her. Fickle youth.

Anyway, he begrudgingly drove us to Swanpool so he could experience being knocked over by waves just trying to get in. I was too slow with the video but it was amusing. The Easterly is bringing much bigger surf than we’re used to in this corner of Cornwall! Fortunately no further mishaps once he actually made it out!

Line of Duty this evening - sweet Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey! That Carmichael is a wrong ‘un I reckon!! Bent copper if ever I saw one and if there’s one thing I can’t stand....
