Settling in

We are pacing things today, to settle in and acclimatise.

In the afternoon we had an amble around the woodland and meadow within the site, then out a short distance along the road to the adjoining nature reserve. It is all very quiet, which suits us fine. Between the entrance to our site and the nature reserve is a large field occupied by highland cattle. The sturdy intervening hedge makes them difficult to photograph,
