Boat sheds, Holy Island

An overcast day, with a little drizzle today. Made the light much more interesting. Tides this week were not totally in favour of visiting Lindisfarne / Holy Island, but we set off early so we could be off the island by 12..30. 

The advantage of odd tide times, was a very quiet island. We walked around the boat sheds, and over to the castle, and saw only a handful of people. There's an extra as well.

Simply had to be black & white, and viewed far best large on black.
