A visit to the office

I had to go into my office today to pick up a new laptop. It’s only about the fourth time I’ve been there in the past year. I have got quite used to working from home and now prefer it, but I do miss the view from my office window which looks on to the gardens which lie below Calton Hill. It was a pretty miserable day so I didn’t open the window for my photo - I don’t think the window cleaner has been in for over a year either!

It was nice to see that the bookshop at the bottom of the road was now open and people could actually go in rather than just stand at the door to “click and collect.” (See extra photo.)
