Bursting buds

The extra few degrees of warmth these past few days has finally brought out the first flush of green on the oak trees as the buds begin to burst.

The wind dropped today and it finally felt quite comfortable to be outside. I managed a thirty minute walk in the field before work which was a wonderful calming experience. The air is filled with the song of birds and so I’ve been using my walks trying to improve my bird song identification skills (they used to be much better!).

Tai Chi at lunchtime today. Good to have the opportunity to remind myself of some of the moves I learned at the online Tai Chi workshop on Sunday morning.
