The same field we walk in most days, often twice a day. Yet, the joy it brings never fades, and the continuing changes brought by the weather and seasons, bring us endless fascination and learning.

I saw my first swallow of the year today. That always makes my heart smile. It also reminds me of the story of The Happy Prince which I had as a child in a beautifully illustrated book. So grateful to Mum who took such care to provide us with treasures to feed our souls.
