Skylark
I went for a walk this morning to White Bridge then along the river before heading inland towards the sea. I had hoped to see the hares but no luck, I did however hear and see many skylarks as I returned along the coast path. I also spotted the two blacks swans that are thought to have flown across the estuary from Dawlish. They were busy feeding alongside the cliff edge at the mouth of the River Otter, see extra.
This afternoon the weather clouded over and we had a very short spell of rain, not much though as the gardens really need it.
