Riverside view

I woke to the sound of light rainfall an unusual thing these past few weeks. The light rain continued until late morning when I was off to meet some friends for a lunchtime meal in Topsham.  We had anticipated rain most of the day but in the end we walked in and had a great lunch sitting outside, such a novelty eating out it was well appreciated by all.  

The afternoon stayed dry and we wandered back through various small back streets.  A bit more food shopping on the way home in preparation for our daughters visit tomorrow.
