A social gathering around the bread dish!

When I took the birds breakfast outside this morning, beside my usual regulars who flew to the nearby trees I ended up with a couple of trees-full of waiting Rainbow Lorikeets.

What a bunch of little socialites they are turning out to be! Just look at them all, lined up on either side of the bread dish, eating and chatting away to each other. :)

In other news, I took the day off from work today!! Woohoo!! My two daughters and I went shopping for a couple of hours this morning, then Emma and I came home, had lunch, and did a spot of baking. It really was a very lovely day. :)))))
