Magnolia soulangeana

Well, it's taken a while, but the bud featured 3 weeks ago has finally opened.  There are three other buds on the tree, but I wonder if they will ever open.

I don't seem to have achieved much today - another day with some sunshine, but a biting cold wind.  We did nip out for W to get his second Covid vaccination (mine's booked for next week), but we have otherwise had a day in front of the computers, doing some IT housekeeping.
