Jewel in a lupin leaf! Some rain at last after a long dry spell, not much, but enough to mean that I shan't have to water the plants for a day or two.

Finished off sanding the woodwork in the hall today, or so I thought, until MrM pointed out - after I'd tidied up for the day - that I'd missed two outside door frames. Tomorrow, maybe...

Heard very late last night that Whitby Folk Week has been postponed until August next year. Sad, and no doubt a very difficult decision for the Directors, but almost certainly the right one. It would be impossible to maintain any sort of social distancing given the nature of the festival and its venues. Trouble is, it means no trade stall there for our small business, and we'll miss all the friends we usually meet. Fingers and crossed for 2022!
