Bird on the wire
Far too much time spent on Ancestry this morning, following up yesterday's lead on William Henry Davies, but to no avail. He can't have just appeared from thin air for his marriage to my great grandmother in 1884!
An extra yoga session this afternoon to make up for the one I missed before Easter.
'Twas an unsettling sort of day in many ways. A grey day too, which didn't help matters. But by the time we walked up to the Common to do the Humbleton round the grey had turned to blue, and it was a beautiful, still evening. This bullfinch was singing its heart out as we passed by.
