When I went to bed last night the rain was beating down on the front windows - this morning it was grey windy and so cold that I put the heating on.
Today’s salad was seedlings of Italian chicory “Rossa di Treviso” with dozens more to pot on!
Used the last of our stored Bramley cooking apples to make compote with the last of our frozen raspberries - soon be eating fresh fruit IF the cold wind goes away AND we get some good rain showers  AND some sunshine ... I can hear my Mother’s voice saying “Don’t want much, do you!”
As I was putting the washing on the line 2 geese flew low over the garden, I’d heard them from quite a distance away and was thrilled to see them too!
MrD had a full day of deliveries.
