Forced

The rhubarb has survived bring transplanted. I used a metal Oor Wullie bucket on one of the plants to force the rhubarb. The other is in the background. I look forward to a rhubarb crumble soon.

The day involved a shop and the final spring clean. Very satisfying once done.

Our daughter and fiancée made very good time from Lancaster after work so we had a good time to catch up before dinner (which they had while I joined a zoom discussion).

One of our biggest concerns was how our respective dogs would get on. They have needled each other in the past. After 8 months of not seeing each other and some very set routines (for ours) we were worried we would have to force them apart. However, after an initial growl and snarl, partly due to the excitement, they settled down remarkably well.

So much to catch up on and so much better in person.
