Blossom

In Washington DC we were too late for the display of cherry blossom although some vesitiges of the splendour could still be seen here and there.

While it would have been lovely to have seen the display we noticed on our return to Edinburgh that the blossom here is in (very full) bloom.

The normal course of action would be to go to the Meadows to view the trees there - see blip of 2 May last year.

As it is, being confined to barracks with Covid I have refrained from doing so.  However on a legitimate walk to post our PCR tests I passed this tree.  Beautiful.

Body clock still adjusting and cold like symptoms not worsening - but not going away yet.
