Dunham Massey

Booked earlier in the week, we headed to NT Dunham Massey this morning. We were hoping to see a green woodpecker, but instead we saw three green ring necked parakeets. No shots as it was just a noisy fly past but it's the first time I've seen them around here. 
Apart from a load of jackdaws, a couple of thrushes and a few ducks/geese, it was very quiet on the birding front. But it was a nice little walk, even if we did get caught in a shower. We did enjoy watching the jackdaws helping themselves to the fur off the back of the deer (extra).
