Feeling Blue
The plan for today had to be changed. Traffic congestion and a blocked road was stressful, but meant that I had some time to spend at North Sands near Salcombe. A short walk inland took me through some wonderfully quiet, green lanes carpeted with wild flowers. I was particularly struck by the vivid blue of the alkanet (see extra) and an old mill nestled into the side of the valley (second extra). On the last stretch I took this image of Salcombe Castle. It all turned out better than expected in the end!
