Sharing

I went to the local woods today but everything is just so behind this year ...I really do hope it catches up soon! I didn't see one shield bug, where last year there were literally thousands, I begin to wonder if they perished in the cold weather we had about a month ago.
What insects there were were very thin on the ground - there were however a good amount of these male St Marks flies flying low over the undergrowth.
I cannot believe it is nearly May and the weather is still so flipping freezing!
