Woodland walk

Now that I am no longer working, I can meet my sister more often.  She lives on the Surrey/Hampshire border and I live in Kent so unfortunately we can’t just ‘pop in for coffee’ but we are getting better at putting a date in the diary for a walk and catch up (with or without OH’s).  

Today’s catch up was another ‘Fancy Free Walk’ ( worth googling if you like walking and live in the South of England?).  We walked and talked for around 6 miles and stopped for a sandwich half way around.  It was cold and I hadn’t worn enough layers and put the heated seats on for my drive back home.  

Home for a cup of tea and managed a bit of ironing and constructed my tapestry frame before dinner, then beat my husband at scrabble before two episodes of ‘Goliath’...... another good day.
