The Water Tower

Another cold day in the city, but luckily no snow coming down. Still kind of windy. We had a busy day, though: breakfast at Lou Mitchell's, head up the Sears Tower (with the glass-floor ledges at 103 floors), Millenium Park, walk along the lakefront, dinner at Gino's East, photos around the Water Tower (pictured), and finally, a few hours at the famous Second City for some fantastic improv comedy (if anyone ever travels to Chicago, highly recommend the Second City. It was three solid hours of laughing). Left home at 8 am, got back at around 12:30 am. Good times.

We lugged our tripods around all day and it was worth it when we got to the Water Tower on N Michigan. I had always seen pictures of it at night with the car lights along the street in front of it, so it was great to try and replicate those pictures. Got a few I was pretty happy with, including this one, with the bus lights streaking along from the top down.
