Waiting for school?

Final day of our break and we had to be out of the house for 9am to give time for cleaning, but that was too early to go to see Mum.
So we headed up the Newlands Valley for a fairly easy run up to the old mines and around. The route back took us past the church and old school (the school functioned from 1877 - 1967), so if these youngsters were looking for an education they would have to go elsewhere.
There was also a small herd (flock?) of llamas nearby and a lamb that had escaped ffrom the field but seemed quite unconcerned.
Run done it was get some things for lunch, see Mum for a final visit and head back north. The journey was fine until the north side of Edinburgh where there was very slow moving traffic before the bridge, and then some rain nearing Dundee.
A lovely few days away and Mum was in fine form.
