Mary had a little lamb

Mary's parent's sheep have begun to lamb. This was the second dam out of 3 to give birth. The first has had twins and the other two a single lamb each. The others are still out in the field but this sheep didn't seem to get the idea and abandoned her new baby, so they bought them both in to keep an on them. Happily, mother sheep has got the hang of it now and dotes on her baby girl.

I thought a shot of mothers and daughters would be nice, but getting the ovine subjects to play along was a tough call. This was the best we could do!
