Ramsons

One of the names for this Allium also known as wild garlic. I have three immature clumps in different parts if the garden to see how it performs. The starry flower is pretty. The strap-like leaf, flower and stem are edible. I read that cows in Switzerland used to feed on them producing garlicky milk as was the butter.
