We look down on you

JJ headed off to watch Liam play football this morning so I set off on a new walk, which involved about half an hour of trudging alongside the edge of a very boring field before I could cross over the main road and head towards Stagsden.  I did see a hare in the distance, which was almost exciting enough to break the monotony.

Once I crossed the A428 it was mainly road walking for about a mile, but the countryside is pleasant enough and the road is quiet.  I only saw one car and a few cyclists, and a pheasant nearly made me jump out of my skin, and I obviously had the same effect on it as it flew off squawking loudly.

Footpath reached at about the half-way point and then easy walking alongside fields all the way home.  We don't get many sheep around here but these were particularly nosey.

I've added an extra of Luke who went to watch his brother play football.  JJ says he's eating well again and is on fine form.  He was very exciting to have had a day at school on Friday.  Back for more chemo at the end of the week.
