Wast Water Wander

As the rain cleared we decided on a short journey to Nether Wasdale and a walk through Bluebell strewn Low Wood to the shores of Wast Water. 

We encountered this National Trust boat house at the point the River Irt left Wast Water. The extras are the reason Richard gave this walk 11 out of ten. A beautiful day in the Weestern Lakes. Unfortunately tomorrow is a different story if the forecast is to be believed!
