Sport on Sunday

A & I took a drive over to Roundhay Park for a walk round, wearing in my new shoes. There had been an incident at one of the bandstands, which was cordoned off with police tape and we were requested to take a small detour. 

There were various sports events happening simultaneously. There was mixed gender American Football training, footba1l,, and what looked like an agile, non contact form of Rugby ( see Blip).

My extra is of the scoring striker for FC Scholes who sealed their victory against local pub team Beck & Call FC.  This was a clash of the top two in Division 2 of the Leeds Combination League.  He deservedly looks pleased with himself and enjoying cheers from the sideline.  Poor kit tho'!
