Belated book club

After months of virtual book club meets it was so great to be able to finally all get together.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at a local pub, I took a blanket, hat, gloves and hot water bottle but was still freezing by 10pm! As always it was a late one and I got home just after midnight and ran myself a hot bath. I don’t think I’ve appreciated the new bathroom quite so much as this!
The book we were discussing was Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney. I really didn’t like it at all, I wasn’t the only one. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Looking forward to moving on to the next read...
