Post-match bath

I love having a bath, but because it's quicker and easier, I almost always end up showering instead.

Having watched the Scotland-Wales rugby this afternoon, the sight of all these poor, bedraggled, muddy, wet and cold players made me think of the joys of unwinding in a hot bath (not that sitting on the sofa all afternoon counts as heavy-duty exercise).

And with the water temperature as high as it gets, a dash of scented bath oil, Radio 4 and a couple of rubber ducks for company, it was every bit as good as I hoped for.

Almost worth playing another international game by proxy next weekend.
