Coca-Cola

Day two of the photography course: officially called Content and Genre, but we seemed to spend a lot of time talking about fizzy drinks.

When does a photograph stop being simply a representation of a glass of coke, and start being something more poetic? Call me a concrete thinker, but I'd have thought that there would need to be an actual glass of coke involved at some stage of the process. Apparently not.

So this is probably a derelict lighthouse at the entrance to Leith's Western Harbour.

Song - which has only a very tenuous link to a lighthouse, but is a jolly fine song. Insofar as 'jolly' and 'Leonard Cohen' can appear in the same sentence.
