Left for what?

In the middle of our village is this old house. There are not that many covered with shingles, so perhaps it would be worth to keep it...
But as it looks, the house is empty since some time and probably waiting for someone to tear it down and build something fancy. Or, the village is lucky and someone will at least leave the outside walls (and shingles). We'll probably know in a couple of years.
