Dried and still elegant - an in-camera double exposure giving this lovely soft impressionistic image.


These petals are dried Japanese Anemone flowers, standing in a vase and glowing in the early morning window light to the left of the frame.



Yesterday’s beautiful rose caught your attention and I send a big thank you for the lovely comments, stars and hearts. It is their end-of-season and this is one of two blooms remaining on this climbing plant. 
The sky has been cloudless once again and it is forecast to stay that way for several more days - perfect autumn weather.
