Overhanging Branches

The weather forecast for today was marvellous and definitely worth dropping everything toenjoy the sunshine!

Jean and I took the short train ride to the lakeside town of Morges. There were still quite a lot of tulips in the big park where the Tulip Festival is held, so we walked all around enjoying the colours. I've enclosed an extra of two lovely winding tulip beds.  The second extra is a rather marvellous tulip that was growing along the edge of the water!

We had a delicious lunch on an outside terrace at our favourite restaurant and then walked and walked along the lake. The overhanging boughs in the main shot are tulip trees in the park.

We walked almost 14,000 steps, albeit at a strolling pace!
