Sweet Corn

We started off growing some sweet corn at home but Cassie ( our cat) got a taste for the shoots .... so we moved them to the greenhouse at the allotment.
We had heavy rain , undeterred we got our waterproofs on and had a walk by the river.
We watched quite a bit of the world snooker final. It was a good close match , but Mark Selby beat Shaun Murphy in the end.
I’ve enjoyed watching snooker since I was a child. Back then many of the players drank beer and smoked during the matches... very different nowadays. :-)
