7 legged race!

Today has been a really good day.

This morning we quickly went into town to get a few things, then when we got back I did some homework and then had lunch.

At 1pm I went to 153 (not sure if I've ever explained, but 153 is the big house that belongs to our church and is on the same grounds as the church) for Christianity Explored! Basically from 1pm - 8:45pm we had CE!

When I arrived only the Steeds and Sam were there, after a short while Beth arrived but then no-one else came for quite a while so we decided to play Twister which was fun as I haven't (well, hadn't) played it in ages!
Then at about 1:30pm more people arrived and so we began our first session which was on 'Grace'. It was really good, and the grumpy man who is in each video for each session actually smiled!!!
Then we had a short break, followed by the next session which was on 'The Holy Spirit'.
After that we had a break and a few of us ran down to the shop to get some snacks as we were all starving!!
At the beginning of each session we have some sort of activity to do and so at the beginning of the last one we had our legs tied together (as shown above) and we were timed to see how quickly we could walk/run up and down the drive! It was girls vs boys and I am very sad to say that the boys won! Although, none of our team fell over, and some of them did!
The last session was on 'Church' and so the activity was meant to show people working together as in, that the church should work together rather than be against each other, kinda thing!
After the last session we went to The Garden of Gulab which is an Indian Takeway down the road. It was sooooooooo yummy! We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and it was a really nice time, talking, eating, and I think possibly laughing too loudly for the liking of other customers!
At about 8:45pm I came home.
A very fun afternoon/evening. :)
