Shopping

We have a fair selection of maps including some duplicates (Barnard Castle, and Arran) which failed the thinning process when we moved. It is nearly always the case that one you need is the one that’s not there, and leads to an opportunity to go map shopping which is one of my favourite retail activities. I am planning to do the Three Lochs Way, which links Loch Lomond, Gareloch and Loch Long, probably in two or maybe three sections over the next few weeks and number 56 Loch Lomond and Inveraray was purchased this morning, in a shop, not online. Because I walk on my own a fair bit I like to have a paper map and compass on hand, just in case. I also replaced my flask.
Sausages for lunch (ensuring some left over for a picnic tomorrow) and a swim. Both the pool and the shops were busy and I find myself getting more used to crowds, and not flinching every time someone is inadvertently closer than two alsatians away from me.
